Lions Sponsor Charity Blindfolded Walk to “Share the Vision”

In honor of our “Sharing the Vision” campaign during October, we’re featuring photos of projects that focus on preventing blindness and helping the visually impaired all month long. We found this week’s photo at The New Straits Times.

The Lions Club of Georgetown Perdana in Malaysia recently helped organize a “Walk for Sight and Sound.” In this photo, Leos take part in a blindfolded walk to understand the plight of blind people. Thousands participated in the event, which raised RM100,000 for charities that help the sight and hearing impaired.
