 A donation of $230,058 was approved in 2005 to Wake Forest School of Medicine to establish the Wake Forest Eye Center NC Lions Diagnostic Imaging Center
 During 2009 $197,000 was provided to the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to purchase equipment
