Lions Mark LCIF Week with Continuing Humanitarian Service

As we mark LCIF Week Jan. 9 through 13, Lions can look back at the ways we and our Lions Clubs International Foundation have improved lives. Two years after the devastating earthquake, Lions are making a difference in Haiti. We were in Haiti immediately following the disaster, donating more than US$6 million to LCIF in support of Lions’ immediate and long-term relief projects. In our commitment to improve the lives of Haitians, Lions are focusing on unmet needs and rebuilding vital infrastructure.

We also continue to fight silent disasters, such as measles, which kills 450 kids daily. Celebrate LCIF Week by helping immunize children against measles. Your donation to LCIF will be matched 2-to-1 by The Gates Foundation so 157 million children will be helped this year.
