Buies Creek Lions Club Enjoys the Sweat Smell of Success.

The Buies Creek Lions Club enjoyed the sweat smell of a successful pancake breakfast fund raiser on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Candidates for public office, office holders and community members responded to the opportunity to meet and greet one another. The idea was for the candidates to simply enjoy a meal and randomly interact with the community. The candidates who attended the breakfast included:

Dr. Bruce Blackmon for Governor
Daniel Glover for NC Senate
Kim Hargrove for Registrar of Deeds
Marsha Johnson for Clerk of Court Harnett County
Dan Andrews for District 4 County Commissioner
Gordon Springle for District 4 County Commissioner
Howard Penny for District 4 County Commissioner
Fred Knipper for District 5 County Commissioner
Ronald Craven for District 5 County Commissioner

The club would like to acknowledge the attendance of Former Senator, Robert Morgan.

Funds raised will be used to support the many Lions Club programs and projects in the community.
